The yellow Subaru Baja. Plastic interior, every surface becomes a cutting board. Plenty of cup holders. Comes in a screaming "look at ME" yellow that should be easy to find after leaving the river well after dark. Corners like it's on rails, good for the amatuer rally car driver in all of us. Since the inside is plastic, you can clean it out with a garden hose, or just kick the empties out in the rental return parking lot.

That thing won't win any beauty contests, but it seriously handles like a poor man's rally car on back roads. Plenty of power, good suspension and AWD mean you can push this puppy to the limit. Particularly if it's a rental...
