Things we like - Part 2
Old barns and buildings. Especially if a farm pond or creek is nearby. There's something so very comfortin' as the sun risin' or settin' on one of these symbols of the past.

also a fan of old bldgs, especially barns. when I was a kid our family bought an old barn off of a neighbor farmer and dismantled the sonuvabitch. took the whole summer, great way to spend yer summer vacation. it became a small barn built on a full size barn foundation (the barn burnt down, boy scout campfire), a dog kennel, pottery studio and guest house with some of the timber. also a couple large primitive shelters out on the back reaches.
I wish I had some pics.
that seems like a thousand years ago.
